The documentation installation directory when using the KAlarm source package has now been fixed. The updated package is available for download at <a href="http://i.download.idg.pl/fannef/a5c4ae4e62678d6d133ccc71aaba3c7b/4e4de7c4/vol2/linux/osobiste/kalarm/kalarm-2.0.0beta3.kde3.tar.bz2" rel="nofollow">http://www.astrojar.org.uk/linux/download/kalarm-2.0.0beta3a.kde3.tar.bz2</a> .

Good point — fixed!

And I don’t even have KDE installed (installed and ran KAlarm in Gnome), so that also could have affected the misplacement.

Thanks for your review, which for the most part seemed fair. I have one minor comment. In relation to email alarms, sendmail itself isn’t required (as seems to be implied, especially since the word “sendmail” contains a link to sendmail.org). I’d prefer to see the wording in the last sentence changed to something like “so you need to have either KMail or a sendmail compatible mail transport agent installed …”

I note the comment about the documentation being installed in the wrong location from the source package - I’ll look into that. The documentation is correctly installed if KDE is installed into its own prefix - the problem only arises if KDE is installed into /usr.
